Going down the road running the refrigerator on propane does the battery need to be on? If so does the truck recharge the fifth wheel battery while going down the road?

Yes , you will need battery power to run your fridge on propane while traveling. You tow vehicle will cahrge the battery while hooked up and traveling , however most vehicels do not put out enough power to fully charge the battery , you may lose some battery power while traveling because of this.

Wondering Weekends   Thanks for the video. I have a few comments. When they say 40 degrees for 2 hours does that mean it can stay at 40 for 2 hours? I would assume when the fridge temp falls to 40 degrees it will continue to fall for the remaining 2 hours which could lead to bad things.
