Q&A with Don Clark, President of Grand Design!

We were able to sit down with the CEO and President of Grand Design RV, Don Clark. We chatted with him at the recent 2018 Indiana Rally and asked him YOUR questions! We tried to get through all of the questions we received on YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram but apologize if we didn't get to yours. We were very thankful for the time we had with Don and had an absolute blast at the rally this year!!

Sept. of 2018 John  & I purchased an Grand design Imagine from Blue Dog Rv in Post falls, Idaho. We also purchased the extended warranty  We are seniors and plan to travel all over the USA after I retire at the end of this year. We thought we would spend more money to get quality. When traveling we need an RV we don't have to worry about fixing & finding a dealer that can do repairs.  We knew there would be little things to fix but never imagined the water leaks we have been  having. First the kitchen sink leaked. We were in Palm springs, CA couldn't find a dealer to help us. So John bought the part and fixed it. Water had been sitting under counter for who knows how long. Second we were traveling and the trip was ruined because the bathroom leaked. We spent most of our time trying to find a dealership and calling blue dog in Post falls for help. We could use our bathroom the whole trip We ended up getting a traveling repair truck. Your company reimbursed us for. Which is good but again the water has been sitting on floor for who knows how long. Now John just got home from CA. to our home in Post falls and found water everywhere. The carpet is soaked from table to recliners. The floor has standing water in bedroom all the way to  bunk beds at the other end. This is crazy. The water damage we have suffered in 6mos. is terrible. Someone needs to make this right. We were sold a Lemon. Please contact us ASAP. John is going to Blue dog today to get our options. Definitely questioning my purchase of my 2018 Imagine 2400BH. Just out of warranty and complete slide motor and harness failure. 1200 bucks. I guess if you really stood behind your products more than one year warranty would be a start.
